As a Senior Officer, Operations & Support, you will:
- Play a key role in the smooth running of the Capstone Program, providing dynamic administrative support for exciting program activities and events.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and the OnTrack project team to innovate and streamline technical workflows, ensuring seamless program delivery.
- Be the trusted go-to person for student queries, offering expert guidance on Capstone processes and helping students navigate their education journey.
- Manage and maintain vital records, documentation, and resources, ensuring transparency and easy access for all involved.
- Collect valuable feedback from students, mentors, and stakeholders to continuously improve the program, while supporting students with project management and industry connections for their Capstone projects.
In a typical day, you will:
- Prioritise tasks and evaluate progress, overcoming obstacles and finding effective solutions to achieve outcomes.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement, seek feedback from colleagues and stakeholders, and take action to drive positive change.
- Coach and support team members, fostering their growth and development while collaborating across teams to share knowledge and expertise.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with colleagues across the University, understanding how your work contributes to the broader organizational goals.
- Continuously seek to improve personal impact through self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, and adapting positively to change, while ensuring excellent customer service and effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A degree in a relevant field (IT, business, or project management) with relevant experience ideally within an IT or project-based setting, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in technical or administrative fields, with a focus on complex organizational structures.
- Proven experience in administrative roles within large organizations, navigating complex policies and procedures.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, diverse environments, handling face-to-face, phone, and written communication.
- Proficiency with software tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, Trello, and GitHub for effective collaboration and support.
