As a Senior Administrative Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives across the Faculty of Arts and Education. As a Senior Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing practical, user-friendly solutions within Faculty Services (Faculty of Arts and Education) that align with stakeholder needs, while delivering exceptional customer service. As a Senior Administrative Officer, you will:

  • Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions in Faculty Services (Faculty of Arts and Education) based on stakeholder needs.
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks in line with university procedures and guidelines such as induction, space allocation, events and seminars.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, maintain compliance with all quality standards, and actively engage in reviewing work practices to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare templates that are fit for purpose for key operational matters within the division. This includes PowerPoint presentations on behalf of the Office of the Director and agendas and action plans for meetings that meet the needs of the stakeholders involved.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree with subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education and training.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration and customer service within large organisations with complex structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, diverse environments, managing face-to-face, phone, and written interactions with professionalism.
