About the role

Deakin Transformation focuses on innovation and enablement aligned to the university’s strategic priorities. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, the team helps drive efficiency, sustainability, and change across the university.

The Coordinator, Deakin Transformation plays a key role in enabling the delivery of projects and initiatives across Deakin Transformation and People & Culture. This role provides hands-on support to keep things running smoothly - coordinating activities, maintaining communication channels, and supporting the delivery of high-quality materials, workshops, and updates.

As a Coordinator, you will:

  • Support the day-to-day coordination of transformation projects and divisional initiatives across Deakin Transformation and People & Culture.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging workshops and events, including managing logistics, scheduling, materials, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint and intranet sites to ensure content is accurate, consistent, and user-friendly.
  • Help prepare project materials, communications, reports, templates and trackers that support clear messaging and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Act as a central point of contact for project teams and stakeholders, supporting collaboration and effective information flow.
  • Support governance and reporting activities by tracking actions, preparing papers, and helping ensure delivery rhythms stay on track.
  • Contribute to team-wide consistency and coordination by supporting shared tools, planning cycles, and communication activities across Deakin Transformation and People & Culture.
