Position overview
The Senior Specialist, Procurement & Sourcing is a responsible for leading procurement and sourcing efforts, stakeholder engagement, optimising supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic initiatives to drive value across the University.
As a Senior Specialist, Procurement & Sourcing you will:
- Achieve demonstrated competitive, value add strategic sourcing outcomes, measured through financial cost savings, performance improvements, cost avoidance and sustained business benefit.
- Identify and deliver cost improvement initiatives with a focus on Property, Construction, FM, Property Tech, Digital & ICT procurement spend.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement team and across the broader University, leveraging best practices, process enhancements, and stakeholder engagement to deliver long-term value.
To be successful, you’ll have experience in:
- Strategic sourcing with a strong focus on strategy development, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Property, Construction, FM, Property Tech, Digital & ICT
- Managing end-to-end procurement processes, from data analysis, identifying needs to supplier selection and contract award.
- Stakeholder management with the ability to lead, influence and implement sourcing plans that result in cost savings and process efficiencies.
