A great opportunity exists for a motivated and professional Speech Pathologist to join our diverse Allied Health team at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital.
About the Role
Nambour Selangor Private Hospital is a 4 ward hospital offering inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation and mixed medical services. We have a large Allied Health team consisting of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Speech Pathology, Allied Health Assistants and Social Work.
We are seeking a temporary part time Speech Pathologist to cover a 12 month maternity leave locum role. Ideally seeking two days of cover per week with flexible work hours within those days. One day per week cover may also be considered. The case load generally consists of Neurological, general medical and geriatric patients. Allied Health Assistant support will be offered to the role.
Some experience is preferred as the candidate will be the sole Speech Pathologist on site at any given time. Professional support and mentoring can be sought via Speech Pathologists within the greater Ramsay network.
Casual work will be available at the end of the maternity leave role.

Successful candidates will also meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
- Eligible for current membership with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia
- Preferably Experience with Rehabilitation and mixed medical case loads
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Proven time and caseload management skills
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Knowledge and commitment to quality assurance and/or the accreditation process

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
