The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Orderly. As an orderly, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:

  • Working with and assisting clinical staff
  • Cleaning and waste removal
  • Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked
  • Assisting in Perioperative patient positioning
  • Transporting patients between wards

Your Key Skills and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
  • Excellent patient and customer service focus
  • Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
  • Prior experience in a similar role highly desirable 
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
  • Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail.

 

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $29.70 + superannuation (plus casual loading when applicable), based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

North West Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical, obstetric and medical hospital situated 15 minutes north-west of the Brisbane CBD, in Everton Park. Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
