We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses with PACU/Anaesthetics experience to join our team at the Victorian Day Procedure Centre.
There are multiple Casual positions on offer.
In this role you will be joining our new Day Surgery Centre, opened February of this year, which offers 2 procedure rooms and a 5 bed recovery suite for patients undergoing day procedures.
You will directly plan, review and implement patient care alongside a diverse team of clinical professionals while reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager. You will be able to rely on the mentorship our experienced shift leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients within the Ward.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with proven Anaesthetic/PACU experience. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- 2 Years’ (2) experience in an acute care setting with recent anaesthetic/PACU experience.
- Any relevant postgraduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
- A Critical Care certificate will be highly regarded, though not essential.
Hourly rate of $31-$42 + super and casual loading based on experience level and qualifications.
Located on Level 2 of the Martin Medical building at 10 Martin Street, Heidelberg, patients’ are admitted and discharged directly through the Day Procedure Centre which is fully equipped to conduct diagnostic gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures and does not require an overnight hospital stay. Our service aims to provide an excellent standard of patient care by facilitating a comfortable, friendly and efficient process for patients.
