A wonderful opportunity exists for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Orthopaedic Surgical Ward at Pindara Private Hospital, located in the heart of the beautiful Gold Coast. 

 

This is a permanent part time opportunity to work a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight across a seven-day rotating roster that will involve night shifts.

                                          

About the Role

 

In this role you will be joining our passionate Orthopaedic Surgical team of Nurses, Medical Officers and varied Clinical Support personnel in our 1C Ward.

 

Your key focus will see you supporting the evaluation, planning and delivery of care to patients who are undergoing and recovering from Orthopaedic procedures. Ensuring a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with both Pindara Private Hospital and Ramsay Health Care’s core values, your role will involve, but is not limited to;

 

  • Supervising and directing nursing care within the nursing team acting as a supportive team member in clinical and unit based decision making within the limits of own knowledge and experience;
  • Identifying and anticipating patient problems and assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their plan of care; and
  • Communicating effectively and managing rapidly changing situations that affect patient care and workload.

 

Flexibility to work night shifts is essential for this role.

 

About You

 

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with recent acute experience in an Orthopaedic environment. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical to this role.

 

You will also bring:

  • Nursing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years relevant Orthopaedic specialty experience in an acute care setting
  • Demonstrates relevant clinical skills and knowledge in area of specialty

 

Candidates with postgraduate qualifications in area of speciality will be highly regarded.

 

Remuneration

 

On offer is an hourly rate for a Registered Nurse ranging from $35.77 to $45.90 + superannuation, depending on experience level and is exclusive of any loadings or penalties.
