We are seeking an experienced Cleaner/Housekeeper to lead our vibrant team at Beleura Private Hospital on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
About the Role
As a Environmental Services Team Leader you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of Beleura Private Hospital as directed. This will involve ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas, in order to keep all staff, patients and families safe. This role will assist the Environmental Services Manager as required to ensure provision of the highest quality department services.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others and a commitment to professional practice. Your effective written and verbal communication skills will assist in providing excellent customer service at all times in line with facility standards, working directions from the Environmental Services Manager and giving instructions to other staff.
You will also bring:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hospital cleaning, or similar cleaning role
- Thorough understanding of chemical safety and hazard/infection control principles
- Previous experience in a team lead or supervisor role is essential.
- Act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers and staff
- Basic computer skills
On offer is an annual salary circa $58,000 + Superannuation.
