A wonderful opportunity exists for Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Endoscopy team at Hollywood Private Hospital.


About the Role

Our Endoscopy Unit offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services and is made up of 17 bed bays, 14 discharge pods and four large procedure rooms. Equipped with the latest high-definition endoscopes, processors and sterilising equipment, the unit also includes a unique discharge experience modelled on an airport lounge. It features private pods where patients can complete their recovery, post procedure. 


As a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, you will work alongside highly qualified doctors, nurses and allied health professionals with specialist expertise in the area of gastroenterology and endoscopy. Your role will involve, but is not limited to;


  • Identifying and anticipating patient problems and assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their plan of care; and
  • Communicating effectively and managing rapidly changing situations that affect patient care and workload.


Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster is essential for this role.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience working in Endoscopy. Your excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and passion for client care will assist in providing a high standard of customer focused service, in line with Ramsay’s core values. 


Successful candidates will also meet the following criteria:


  • Registered with the AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience 
  • Ability to use initiative, self-motivation, work as a team member with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of legislation and policies relevant to nursing practice in the current workplace
  • Available to work across a range of shifts throughout the week
  • Previous endoscopy experience preferred


Enrolled Nurses must have successfully completed EN medication administration education to be successful in this position. 


Candidates with, or who are working towards a postgraduate qualification will be highly regarded.

On offer is a full time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from


  • $67,996.00 to $89,477.00 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications for Registered Nurses; and
  • $60,895.00 to $65,409.00 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications for Enrolled Nurses.


Please note that the range above is full time equivalent, does not include any loadings or penalties and will vary depending on the hours you are contracted to.
