Due to growth of our services, we are looking for casual Registered Nurses to join our night duty team at Mitcham Private Hospital in eastern Melbourne.
About the Role
In this role you will be joining our Windsor Ward, a 30 bed general medical unit seeing a wide variety of presentations with a majority of Gynaecological and Orthopaedic cases. We also offer our patients requiring more intensive care 3 High Dependency beds.
As a Registered nurse, you will perform clinical duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients as they are prepared for day procedures.
You will have the chance to participate in a comprehensive orientation program and receive extensive support from the Nurse Unit Manager and shift leaders in carrying out your duties.
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
This is a purely night duty role, so the flexibility to work to a 7 day roster composed of night shifts will be essential for this role.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- 2 years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting will be essential to this role.
- Any HDU experience will be highly regarded, though not essential.
- Recent acute care experience post AHPRA registration in a hospital environment is essential.
On offer is an hourly rate of $31-$42 + Superannuation and Casual Loading.
