This is a night duty role, so the capacity to work a roster composing of night shifts will be key to this role.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our supportive team to continue to provide our patients with dedicated and specialised care in our 27-bed acute medical unit. As the Registered Nurse You will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of each patient and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes. 

This role will see you reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager but also have guidance and support from Clinical Nurses and Shift Leaders.

This is a permanent role, with a minimum of 54 hours per fortnight available.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and a passion to learn new skills and develop your clinical knowledge.  You will have exceptional customer service and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.  The flexibility to handle a rotating roster and a strong team focus will also be key for this role.

You will also demonstrate;

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an acute hospital environment and/or medical unit
• Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
• Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Remuneration

On offer is a PRO RATA Full-Time Equivalent salary of;
$70,697 - $90,715 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
