We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health team at Shepparton Private Hospital.
This is a permanent part-time role working 60 hours per fortnight.
About the Role
Reporting to the Allied Health Services Manager, the successful applicant will provide effective and efficient professional Exercise Physiologist services to patients and customers of the Hospital.
This position will be responsible for the assessment of patients, prescription of exercises and supervision of patient exercise programs, in collaboration with the Physiotherapist. You will motivate and encourage patient’s maximum participation in the exercise program to assist them to achieve desired and optimal health outcomes. You will be working both with inpatient and outpatient populations, with potential patients from orthopaedic, deconditioning, and neurological streams.
You will be joining a small tight-knit team so will have access to high-quality mentoring, coaching and support day-to-day. To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a rehabilitation setting. You will bring a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. You will also bring;
- A Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology.
- ESSA Accreditation will be highly regarded.
- Hospital experience will be well-regarded though not essential.
On offer is an hourly rate $30.00-$40.00 per hour plus superannuation based on experience as per the Ramsay Health Professionals EBA (VIC). Salary packaging is also available for Ramsay Employees.
