About the Role
Warringal Private Hospital specialises in advanced orthopaedic surgery including complex Spinal, hip and knee surgery, joint replacement, arthritis management, sports injury and trauma.
In this role you will be working in our Roberts Ward, specialising in complex Orthopaedics, alongside a passionate team of nurses, visiting medical officers and clinical support staff. We also have additional positions available in our Streeton surgical Ward. You will be responsible for assessing, planning and delivering specialised nursing care and excellent customer service to our clients.
This role reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.
To succeed in this role, you will possess a strong clinical skillset as a Registered Nurse with proven surgical experience. You will have a passion for excellent client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, acute surgical environment.
The flexibility to work rotating shifts along with weekend and evening shifts is key for this role.
Essential for this role:
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- 2 or more years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute surgical ward is essential
Desirable for this role:
- Post Graduate, or working towards a, qualification in Orthopaedics will be highly regarded.
- Orthopaedic experience is preferred.
On offer is an hourly rate of $ 31.63 - $ 44.15 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr10) [FTE $62 516.09 - $87 256.01]
