ICU Nurses

We are seeking critical-care qualified Registered Nurses to join our ICU team at Warringal Private Hospital in Heidelberg.

There are multiple roles on offer including both casual positions and one 12 month contract working 60 hours per fortnight.

 

About the Role

In this role you will be joining our busy ICU team planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients requiring critical care. You will work alongside a passionate team of clinical professionals while guided by an expert team of associate nurse unit managers shift-to-shift.

This role reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with proven Critical Care experience. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The flexibility to work a rotating shift roster along with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Two (2) years proven experience within a hospital ICU/HDU team is essential for this role.
  • A certificate/qualification in Critical Care is essential for this role.

 

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $32 -$44 per hour based on qualifications and service experience + superannuation and casual loading.

Requirements

To ensure the quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors, applicants will be required to provide before commencement a National Police Check, Working With Children Clearance and proof of Immunisation to infectious diseases.
