A Permanent opportunity is available for a dedicated Patient Services Assistant to join our Theatre team on the beautiful Gold Coast.
About the Role
- Permanent Part Time –
- Working Across 7-Day Roster
- Opportunity for additional shifts during busy periods
You will work under the supervision and direction of Registered Nurses, aiding in the delivery of safe and effective patient care at a consistently high standard. In in this role the successful applicant will support the Perioperative department by ensuring adequate stock is available when required and enable the establishment of appropriate stock levels to meet organisational objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service.
You will also bring:
- A Certificate III or IV in Health Services or Aged Care or current enrolment in a Diploma / bachelor’s in nursing
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- Experience in a theatre environment in a similar position is desirable.
- Moderate understanding of medical terminology
- Sound computer skills

$26 – $28 + super based on experience level, not inclusive of additional penalties and allowances
To ensure the quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors, applicants will be required to provide before commencement a National Police Check and proof of Immunisation to infectious diseases.
