Perioperative Registered Nurse
We are seeking experienced perioperative Registered Nurses to join our Theatre team at Wangaratta Private Hospital in central Wangaratta, VIC.
About the Role
In this role you will be joining our state-of-the-art Perioperative Services department, known as one of the premier Orthopaedic Surgery services in the region, and will be joining a passionate team of clinical professionals driven to exceed Ramsay’s high standard of care.
On shift, you will perform clinical duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients through their procedures and recovery. This will directly involve the assessing, planning and delivery of care to those patients based on your specialty.
This role reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in an acute perioperative setting. You will have exceptional customer service and time management skills with a passion for quality patient outcomes. The flexibility to handle a 7-day rotating roster will be also crucial to this role.
Specialty experience in a perioperative discipline will be essential for this role, ie Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics or PACU/Recovery experience.
You will also bring:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse.
- PACU/Recovery experience is our current greatest need and will be highly regarded.
- Any postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
Hourly Rate of $32-$44 based on qualifications and experience level + Casual Loading and Superannuation.
