Associate Nurse Unit Manager (General Surgical)

Part-time - 52 hours per fortnight

About the Role

In this role you will be acting a senior nurse within the ward directly supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in the leadership of team members on shift ensuring positive patient outcomes are achieved. You will review, plan and deliver patient care within the unit alongside a passionate team of Shift Leaders and a professional support team to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

This role reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.


About You

To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge and competence within a hospital setting. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The flexibility to work a rotating roster of AM, PM and night shifts is essential.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • 3 Years minimum experience in acute care nursing with experience in a Surgical unit/ward.
  • Leadership experience will be highly regarded.



On offer is a PRO RATA annual salary of $97,656+ Superannuation.
