About the Role

Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest and most respected private hospital operator, Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a comprehensive cardiac/vascular surgical and diagnostic facility which focuses on advanced cardiac, surgical and interventional procedures. Located ten minutes’ drive south of Newcastle near the beautiful Hunter Valley and only 2 hours from Sydney, Lake Macquarie is regarded as one of the premier facilities in this region.


As a Perioperative Registered Nurse in the Day Surgery team, you will be working alongside a passionate team of clinicians in delivering quality care and excellent customer relations to our patients. 



About You

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.  You will be an efficient professional with exceptional communication and organisation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


You will also bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • 1 Year Post-Graduation experience essential
  • Previous experience in a surgical department essential.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management, clinical problem solving and organisational skills


A passion for providing quality care and be able to effectively work with a professional team is vital for this role.




On offer is a PRO RATA Full-Time Equivalent salary of: $33.23 - $46.67 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 65 665.60 - $92 230.31]
