Lead the staff development function of our Peninsula Private Hospital in this rewarding permanent full-time position.

 

The Opportunity

This exciting opportunity encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating staff Development and Education across Peninsula Private Hospital. You will be responsible for contributing to participating in and evaluating;

  • Hospital Orientations
  • Professional Development/Education Programs
  • Clinical Competence Programs

This role is supported by the Executive Team while reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services.

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring 5 years’ experience in a senior clinical role, ideally with experience in staff training and education. You will be a highly organised professional with the ability to provide operational, clinical and commercial expertise to monitor and drive successful patient outcomes. You will be a strong collaborator with the capacity to engage a wide variety of hospital stakeholders.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Experience in delivering informal/formal education programs
  • The demonstrated ability to apply quality improvement strategies and influence organisational change.

 

The Hospital

Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14 bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs.
