We are seeking multiple patient focused Registered Nurses to join our team. 
Fixed Term Full Time role (rotating roster) and Temporary Full-Time (Maternity Cover) positions available.

About the Role

Our 50-bed surgical ward that cares for patients post upper GI, bariatric, colorectal and gastrointestinal surgeries. Our unit was the first internationally recognised Bariatric Centre of Excellence in Australia, receiving a high-volume of bariatric patients. As a Registered Nurse you will be providing high quality pre and post-surgical care to patients who have received acute surgery. This will involve assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of those patients day-to-day.

The unit is supported by a professional multi-disciplinary team and holds a strong focus on the development of graduate and student nurses. The team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for its patients.

In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in an acute hospital setting as a Nurse with a focus on pre and post-surgery care. Experience within upper GI, colorectal, gastrointestinal, Central Lines, TPN and chest drains will be highly regarded.

You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum two years experience in an acute hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team

**Flexibility to be available for a rotating 24/7 roster with morning, afternoon, evening and night shifts will also be key for this role**



$33.23 - $46.67 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 65 665.60 - $92 230.31]
