 Clinical Nurse Oncology – Joondalup Health Campus

Permanent Part Time (45 Hours per fortnight)

The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse to join our Oncology/Haematology team.

The Oncology/Haematology day unit is a 12 chair/bedded day unit open Monday – Saturday, treating Oncology/Haematology patients with cytotoxic drugs and supportive therapies; and patients with non-malignancies requiring a wide range of intravenous therapies. You will be required to supervise and direct nursing care within the nursing team as well as participate as a supportive team member in clinical and unit based decision making.

About You

  • Demonstrate commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay way
  • Current registration in the category of Registered Nurse (or Midwife) by AHPRA, Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
  • A minimum of 5 years’ nursing experience in Oncology/Haematology setting
  • Trained in the administration of IV chemotherapy practices
  • Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace
  • Demonstrated ability to provide nursing leadership, clinical decision making skills and delegation to all members of staff.
  • Demonstrates advanced level of effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Effective organisation skills and ability to work and manage the care of patients in a fast pace, changing environment


On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from:

  • $95,079.43 - $101,019.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
