Clinical Nurse

 Pindara Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate clinician who is ready to take the next step and grow their career.

This is a permanent part time opportunity to work 48 hours per fortnight and join our thriving Day Infusion Clinic.

About the Role

 We are seeking an experienced nurse with the suitable skills and competence to provide leadership and support to our Day Infusion Clinic. Acting as a professional resource and demonstrating broad knowledge in all facets of caring for patients, you will contribute to, and participate in, the education of all levels of staff being involved in department orientation, in servicing and clinical competence programs.

Our clinicians work within a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. In this role, you will liaise with the Nurse Unit Manager and Educators, while working cooperatively and collaboratively with peers.

About You

To succeed in this role, you be an organised and efficient professional with a strong team and customer focus and have experience in shift leading. As the Clinical Nurse, you will be required to act as a positive role model and demonstrate highly developed clinical and problem solving skills. We are looking for a Clinical Nurse who thrive working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.

Your ability to lead, motivate and empower staff is critical for this position.

You will also demonstrate;

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Oncology and Haematology
  • Experience in Chemotherapy administration
  • Ability to act as a positive role model with excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, clinical problem solving and organisational skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with Central Venous Access Devices is highly desirable

Strong interpersonal skills and a strong team focus are essential.

Requirements

To ensure the quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors, applicants will be required to provide before commencement a National Police Check, Working with Children clearance and proof of Immunity to infectious diseases.
