Clinical Coordinator (Cardiac Catheter Lab)

About the Role - In this role you will be taking on the leadership of our cutting-edge Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, staffed by a team of experienced nurses, radiographers and highly skilled cardiologists, providing a comprehensive suite of on-site cardiac services to our patients. We conduct a range of Cardiovascular procedures including angiography, angioplasties, percutaneous coronary intervention, and EPS.

 

You will be accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human & material resources within the unit. The role encompasses planning, implementing, and evaluating all practices, processes, and clinical services of the unit.  This role is clinically based.

 

You will be supported by a passionate team of Managers while reporting to and utilising the mentorship of the Perioperative Services Manager and Director of Clinical Services.

 

About You -To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical leadership skillset in an acute hospital setting with previous experience as a coordinator or ANUM in a relevant specialty. You will bring a keen eye for strategic management of clinical staff, financial and material resources along with the capacity to effectively manage the day to day processes in the unit. Also key will be the capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor.

 

You will also bring;

  • Cardiac specialty experience is essential
  • Experience as a Clinical Manager or coordinator
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement / risk management program
  • Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite including Excel
