Senior Physiotherapist

About the Role


An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist to provide excellent care for our patients as a key member of our weekend physiotherapy service. As a Senior Physiotherapist you will work within the multidisciplinary team providing care to both medical and surgical patients, and offer mentorship and clinical guidance within our team.



About You


To succeed in this role, you will need to be a qualified Physiotherapist with proven advanced skills and experience in an acute hospital setting. Your capacity to provide best-practice Physiotherapy input, along with your ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with patients, staff and other stakeholders is essential to this role.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a minimum of 3-5 years post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate evidence-based practice assessments and interventions across a range of conditions
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to work independently within the broader multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to service and quality improvement
