The Position

This position will see you leading our enthusiastic, passionate team in the Eating Disorders Unit.  You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team.

This position would be ideally suited to someone who:

  • Has a minimum 2 years’ working experience in an acute inpatient mental health environment
  • Clinical experience in an eating disorder unit
  • Recent Management experience of clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.
  • Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Has a strong focus on patient centred, evidence based nursing care;
  • Has the ability to collaborate and consult with patients, family and carers in a professional, compassionate manner.
  • Has appropriate AHPRA registration.

This fast paced and highly rewarding role reports to the Director of Clinical Services.

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring with you a strong clinical skill set along with recent management experience. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team. You will be a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow while bringing a passion for a high level of client care and service.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA
  • Clinical experience in eating disorders  
  • Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
  • Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.
