Registered Nurse – Admissions Officer

We are seeking a Nursing Admissions Officer to join our team at Macarthur and/or Wentworthville to assist in the intake assessment process.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse. Our Easy Access team works closely with psychiatrists, GPs and other external referrers, ensuring compliance to effective risk management processes. The Admissions Officer will be working in partnership with an experienced admissions team. This role is an essential part of our patient’s journey, as it is one of the first points of contact. It is essential that all enquiries are met with professional, compassionate and timely responses.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated communication and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively. You will have a proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a strong customer service focus. You will be empathetic, professional and have a strong understanding of clinical risk management.

You will also:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience working in mental health
• be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
