Ramsay Clinic Thirroul 

Ramsay Clinic Thirroul is Australia’s first all-female mental health facility dedicated to the psychological and psychiatric consequences of trauma. Located in the former Lawrence Hargrave Private Hospital in Thirroul and opened on 1 August 2022, the 43-bed facility will provide a range of inpatient and day patient programs, as well as onsite consulting suites for outpatient appointments.

We are currently seeking a Quality, Safety & Risk Coordinator to manage the quality management, risk management and safety systems of the hospital.

About the Role

Working closely with the Director of Clinical Services and Unit Manager, the Quality, Safety & Risk Coordinator will maintain and refine the hospital’s quality, safety and risk managements systems. This role will also guide the accreditation process and drive quality improvement initiatives across the facility.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess the ability to foster strong positive and professional relationships and have demonstrated communication and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively. You will have a proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of clinical risk management. Additionally, you will have:

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA.
  • Excellent attention to detail, decision making capabilities and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes.
  • Knowledge of the National Safety & Quality Health Services Standards, and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation.
  • Understanding of infection prevention and control.
  • Experience in policy development and review.
  • Experience in incident management, investigation and electronic information management systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
