Renowned for its excellence in patient care and hospital management, Ramsay Health Care presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support to managers and employees across all levels for our three Cairns-based facilities: the Cairns Private Hospital, a 24/7 acute facility, The Ramsay Clinic, and the Ramsay Surgical Centre.
The Position
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Offering expert advice on industrial and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, agreements, and policies.
- Coaching and providing feedback to assist managers in addressing HR issues and fostering development.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
- Conducting comprehensive workplace investigations and providing recommendations and support when needed.
- Managing and coordinating the implementation of effective organisational change in line with enterprise agreements and legislative requirements.
- Involvement in local, regional, or national projects as directed.
- Carrying out monthly HR reviews and producing reports.
The Person
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Substantial experience in an HR/IR role based in the field.
- Qualifications in HRM or Industrial Relations, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant experience in HR Business Partnering, demonstrating the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise your tasks and meet necessary deadlines.
- Alignment with 'The Ramsay Way' philosophy.
- Experience in employee relations and managing complex cases, including disciplinary procedures, investigations, and grievance resolution.
Requirements
