The Opportunity

Ramsay Health Care, a global leader in healthcare services, is embarking on a transformative journey to redefine the future of healthcare. To ensure our continued success, we are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise-wide SWP framework. This pivotal role will be instrumental in aligning our workforce with our key strategic priorities and ensuring we have the right talent, with the right skills, at the right time to deliver on our ambitious goals.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) framework aligned with our long-term strategic vision.
  • Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to identify current and future workforce needs, translating strategic objectives into actionable workforce plans.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of workforce demographics, skills, competencies, and industry trends to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop sophisticated forecasting models to anticipate future talent demands and proactively identify potential gaps.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions to address workforce challenges, including targeted recruitment, retention, training, and succession planning strategies.
  • Educate and empower teams across the organisation on the value and principles of SWP, fostering a culture of data-driven workforce decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SWP initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to ensure continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing SWP strategies in complex organisations, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Deep understanding of workforce dynamics, challenges, and opportunities in sectors experiencing skill shortages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with workforce planning software and tools, as well as advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management.

Requirements

  • You may have to provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
