ANAESTHETIC NURSE/TECHNICIAN
Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or Anaesthetic Technician - Cardiac Catheter Lab. This is a permanent part time opportunity to work a minimum of 64 hours per fortnight.

About the Role
Working across our Cardiac Cath Lab, you will work in the largest private cardiac centre on the Gold Coast and have access to some of the latest in cardiac technology. Our Cardiothoracic Surgical Services include a dedicated Cardiac Theatre, 12 bed high technology Intensive Care Unit and a fully integrated step-down Unit.
You will join our professional and engaging multidisciplinary team of highly skilled Cardiologists, Cardiac Anaesthetists, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals. Treating all customers with respect and equality, you will be responsible for meeting all aspects of their care in a timely and professional manner.
About You
You will bring extensive clinical skills with current anaesthetic experience with the ability to work independently in a perioperative setting. Your effective communication skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and “can-do” attitude is essential for this role.
The flexibility to work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role.
You will also bring;
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
- Recent/current anaesthetics experience
- Recent relevant clinical experience and understanding of issues associated with acute care/perioperative setting
- Excellent time management skills
- High standard of customer service and a team approach to optimal patient care
- Basic understanding of infection control principles
Enrolled Nurses must be (Medication Endorsed and IV Qualified)
Anaesthetic Technicians must hold a Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology, Certificate of Anaesthetic Technician or equivalent to be considered.
Remuneration
Anaesthetic Technician $26.50 – $37.56 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
Enrolled Nurse (medication Endorsed) $34.57 - $38.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
Registered Nurse $40.47 - $52.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
