About the Opportunity

Take advantage of this exciting position that is available for a Cafe Supervisor to join the team at Pindara Private Hospital.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the set-up and coordination of the day-to-day operation of the café, providing a service to hospital employees and onsite visitors.

You will also be accountable for the management of Café staff by conducting regular performance reviews; ensuring efficient and effective staff rosters are completed and published in a timely manner, whilst meeting requirements within the Enterprise Agreement and maintaining budgeted KPIs.

This role will also encompass:

• Basis food preparation.
• Maintaining cleanliness within the café in line with required food safety requirements, infection control and hospital standards.
• Ensuring all monetary processes are adhered to in line with the Ramsay Cash handling policy.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a high attention to detail and work effectively in a team or independently as required, within a fast-paced environment. Your ability to prioritise tasks effectively will assist you with your excellent time management skills.

You will also bring:

• Previous experience in Hospitality sector with at least 1-year supervisory experience including training, ordering, rostering, and supervising COGS.
• Must be an experienced Barista in a fast-paced environment and be able to work on a coffee machine independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated understanding of the provision of excellent customer service in a service-orientated workplace.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire Cafe team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Sound knowledge and practices of WHS, Manual Handling, and food safety & hygiene.
• Proficiency in using cafe management software and POS systems is advantageous.
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
• Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace.
• Certification in Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) is advantageous.

Remuneration

$29.70 to $32.00 per hour + super + weekend penalties & allowances. Based on experience level and qualifications

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
