About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, cafeteria, and functions.
You will ensure a high standard of quality hospital food production and cleanliness is maintained to be in line with the Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards and Hospital policy.

Availability to work across a 7-day roster is essential. No late night shifts!
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following;
- Certificate in Commercial Cooking
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Cook
- Ability to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirements
- Must have a thorough understanding of allergy management practices
- Excellent work ethic, customer service skills, time management skills and the ability to successfully work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse workplace
- Previous healthcare setting experience will be highly regarded.

About Our Hospital
Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14 bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs. As a fully accredited health care facility we offer the highest standards of clinical care, patient service, and technology.
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
