About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide crucial support to our Executive team and hospital managers, directly contributing to the ongoing success of Nowra Private Hospital.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder Representation: Act as a representative of the hospital, engaging with a variety of stakeholders including patients, doctors, employees, managers, and human resources.
  • Governance and Complaint Management: Ensure that governance requirements and complaint management processes are handled efficiently and within agreed timelines.
  • Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, accurately record meeting minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Communication: Draft and distribute communications on behalf of the Executive team to employees, managers, and doctors.
  • Employee Engagement: Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives and hospital functions.
  • Doctor Credentialing: Manage the credentialing process for doctors to grant medical privileges.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Executive team.
  • Reception Duties: Respond to inquiries presented at the executive reception with professionalism and care.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Emotional Intelligence: Ability to adapt and interact with diverse personalities, contributing to a positive and caring workplace culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Skilled in using applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Confidentiality: High level of discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Independent and Collaborative Work: Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Time and Task Management: Effective in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Quick to adjust to changing circumstances and demands.
  • Technical Experience: Familiarity with Meditech, SAP, and Mercury is desirable.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
