Day Procedure Unit & Gastroenterology
Temporary Full Time: 12 months contract
About the Role
We have an opportunity for a positive role model and experienced clinician to join the Clinical Education Team at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
As the Clinical Facilitator you will be an integral member of the clinical team orientating and educating staff.
In this role your key responsibilities will include facilitating department based training and clinical competency assessments across our Day Procedure Unit and Gastroenterology Services as well as providing opportunities and support for the professional development of staff.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have experience as a Senior Registered Nurse, bring exceptional time management skills, and be highly organised and flexible with working shifts to accommodate educational needs.
You will have a committed and proactive approach to professional development, demonstrated experience in mentoring clinical staff and be an exceptional and positive role model.
- Relevant Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum three (3) years’ post graduate experience in a perioperative or day procedure environment
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) is desirable.
- Previous experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Previous experience in an education role advantageous
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently where required.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
