About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Disaster Management Coordinator to join our team.

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that creates a positive culture and produces excellent patient outcomes supported by evidence based practice. You will be required to collaborate with all emergency providers to maintain, develop and continuously improve protocols and procedures to ensure a state of readiness to efficiently deal with any emergency.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and demonstrate strong leadership skills, have advanced disaster management knowledge, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and will demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of outstanding patient outcomes.

 

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Extensive relevant professional experience at a senior level in emergency disaster management. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of emergency and disaster management legislative and Australian Standards requirements relating to hospitals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Demonstrated ability with conceptual, analytical and report writing skills in relation to incident and disaster management.
  • Demonstrated advanced interpersonal skills including communication at all levels.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
