Mt Wilga Private Hospital is seeking expressions of interest from Lymphoedema trained therapists who may be interested in joining our highly regarded and well established lymphoedema team.

The successful applicant will have access to professional development and will receive ongoing clinical supervision and structured mentoring from a highly experienced team of therapists whilst working in the field.

 

Our Program

Mt Wilga Private Hospital is a 119 bed specialist rehabilitation facility, with a busy day therapy unit and outpatients department situated in Hornsby, a peaceful area of Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

Part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, Mt Wilga boasts an excellent clinical reputation as a leader in private rehabilitation, with large modern treatment areas, two hydrotherapy pools, and fully equipped gymnasiums.

Mt Wilga offers comprehensive rehabilitation programs for patients presenting with a wide variety of conditions including orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, back and pain management, cardiac, amputee, reconditioning and lymphoedema.

 

Your Essential Skills and Experience

  • Appropriate undergraduate Degree with APHRA registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a case load effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High standard of customer service and a team approach
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
  • Flexible, positive approach to work

 

As a lymphoedema clinician you will:

  • Have completed your Level 1 Lymphoedema Training (for Lymphoedema casual)
  • Manage a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation for the management of Lymphoedema
  • Provide Complex Lymphoedema Therapy (including massage, bandaging, laser, skin care and garmenting) to Inpatients and Day Patients as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
  • Completion of the NDIS ‘Quality, Safety & You’ e-learning module
  • Must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISWC)
