About the Opportunity

Casual opportunities available. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced all-rounder to join our team of Physiotherapists, providing cover to our admitted services (Day Program and Inpatients) and Outpatient services.

Duties

  • Conduct assessment, intervention and discharge planning for a diverse range of adult patients who require rehabilitation across inpatients, day patients and outpatients.
  • Provide therapy in individualised and group settings.
  • Participate in developing appropriate discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work both independently and within a team structure.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

Essential

  • Degree in Physiotherapy with APHRA registration.
  • Completion of the NDIS ‘Quality, Safety & You’ e-learning module
  • Must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISWC)
  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skill in multiple areas of Physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrate advanced time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to Quality Improvement.
  • Availability for weekday work

Desirable

  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
  • Interest in Women’s health
  • Availability during school holidays.

 

 

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate of $37.15 – $59.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
