About the Role
Our Surgical Ward has 23 beds including 4 special care/high dependency monitored beds.
Specialising in orthopaedic, general, urology, ENT, gynaecological, vascular, interventional cardiology, plastic, dental, and colorectal surgery, the successful candidates will have a diverse and interesting case load.
Permanent full-time and part-time roles negotiable for the right candidates.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Enrolled Nurses must hold IV Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year’ post-graduate acute nursing experience
- Recent surgical nursing experience desirable
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in team and independently as required
Remuneration
Enrolled Nurse: $32.96 - $35.88 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1-thereafter) [FTE $65,128.96 - $70,898.88]
Registered Nurse: $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
About Our Hospital
Baringa Private Hospital is a 78 bed licensed hospital, providing advanced surgery, interventional coronary angiography including the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, ICU, endovascular & general surgery, general medical, rehabilitation, palliative care and mental health. Our theatre complex offers state of the art operating facilities, including a newly commissioned ophthalmic theatre. Baringa has a day medical unit which caters for patients requiring chemotherapy and day intravenous therapy.
