About the Role
Joining our team as the Allied Health Manager, you will form part of the key clinical leadership team and provide professional and clinical leadership for the Allied Health services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of efficient and effective services covering acute and mental health inpatient services, rehabilitation and ambulatory programs.
You will provide professional leadership, mentoring, support and specialist advice for a large multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with hospital managers and executive members to achieve excellence in care delivery.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum three (3) years post-graduate experience in the mental health clinical area
- Strong clinical and leadership skills, and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Have previous experience in a private hospital setting.
- Recent rehabilitation experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating trauma informed therapy groups
Overall, you will be an effective and approachable leader with a natural ability to build rapport and effective relationships with both internal and external clientele.
