Registered Nurse – Waratah Ward

The Opportunity
We are seeking Registered Nurses to work as part of the Waratah Ward team. Waratah Ward provides inpatient care for a diverse range of surgical patients, delivering patient-focussed, high quality postoperative care. The ward also provides specialised nursing care for medical, rehabilitation and palliative care patients.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the NUM and the senior nursing team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating each patients’ individual needs and working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to every patient.

To excel in this role, you will possess a positive and collaborative team spirit. You will also demonstrate experience in acute care nursing, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. You will bring a strong clinical skillset coupled with genuine dedication to patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values.
The successful applicant will have:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience in an acute care nursing role is essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ward and dynamic ward environment
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work all shifts on a 7-day rotating roster
Remuneration
On offer is hourly base salary ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
