We are looking for Registered Midwives interested in working night duty shifts on our combined Antenatal/Surgical Ward, Birth Suite and/or Postnatal Ward.
About the ward
Our Antenatal/Surgical Ward has 25 beds and we care for women who require hospital admission due to pregnancy complications or women undergoing an induction of labour. Our Birth Suite has 6 birthing rooms with the latest medical technology, and is about to undergo a renovation. Our Postnatal Ward is recently renovated and has 36 rooms.

About the role
In this role, you will provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care with the guidance of Nurse Unit Managers, Associate Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists
Receive comprehensive support, including:
- Orientation
- Supernumerary time
- Preceptorship, facilitating a smooth transition into your new role
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Extensive clinical support for Graduate Midwives, aiding in the transition from student to competent and confident Registered Midwife.
About you
You should possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Proven experience in delivering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care to patients.
- A strong passion for women’s health and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and a focus on ongoing improvement.
You will also demonstrate:
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
- Ability to work a rotating night duty roster including weekend shifts.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly salary ranging from $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
