About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our theatre department at Strathfield Private Hospital! Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Our facilities encompass 84 beds, 7 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 cardiac catheterisation lab, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and a Day Surgery Unit.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a scrub/ scout nurse is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]

About Our Hospital
Strathfield Private is a teaching hospital for Sydney University, conveniently located 200 metres from Strathfield Train Station. Our facilities encompass 84 beds, 7 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 cardiac catheterisation lab, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and a Day Surgery Unit. We also have onsite radiology, pathology, café and specialist consulting suites.
