The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Orderly. As an orderly, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:
- Working with and assisting clinical staff
- Cleaning and waste removal
- Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked
- Assisting in Perioperative patient positioning
- Transporting patients between wards

Your Key Skills and Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
- Excellent patient and customer service focus
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
- Prior experience in a similar role highly desirable
- A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
- Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail.
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $26.50 + superannuation (plus casual loading when applicable), based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
