About the Role
The successful candidates will be joining our Anaesthetic and PACU perioperative nursing teams.
Our surgical specialties include orthopaedics, gynaecology, obstetrics, ophthalmology/retinal, urology, plastics, general, interventional pain procedures and oral surgery, ensuring you will have a diverse and interesting caseload.
Your skills and experience
Registered Nurse with a background in theatre and recovery nursing desired or strong dedication and willingness to learn.
Essential:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered and Enrolled Nurse
- Enrolled Nurses must have IV qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years’ post-graduate experience
- Recent experience in a perioperative setting, anaesthetics & PACU preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Waverley Private Hospital is a 98 bed acute/surgical facility located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Waverley Private Hospital has been an active contributor to the healthcare needs of the local communities of Eastern and South Eastern Melbourne since 1972. At Waverley Private Hospital we have seven operating theatres including a Day Procedure Unit.
