Become a part of our dynamic and expanding team at Cairns Private Hospital as a Patient Care Assistant and DOSA Transport! We're currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist in our fast-paced day unit ward.
In this position, you will work under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and clinical team leaders to provide direct physical support to patients throughout their stay, aiding Nurses and Medical professionals in delivering exceptional care.

Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in thriving within our team-oriented environment and fostering positive relationships with colleagues, patients and their families.
You will also demonstrate:
- Holds a Certificate III in Health Services or Aged Care or current enrolment in a Diploma / Bachelor in Nursing
- Recent acute hospital experience in a similar position is desirable.
- Moderate understanding of medical terminology
- Sound computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required.
Remuneration:
A base hourly rate ranging from $26.50 - $36.30 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (QLD Support Services EA Level 1 Yr1 to Level 4 Yr 2)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
