John Flynn Private Hospital is recruiting across multiple areas of our site! We have permanent full-time and part-time opportunities across:
- Medical Ward 4A – respiratory and stroke focus
- Medical Ward 4B – renal specialty focus
- Medical Ward 6B – varied caseload across medical and post-op management
- Cardiac Medical Ward - support patients undergoing Coronary angiograms, Permanent Pacemaker Insertions, Cardioversions, Ablations and diagnostic cardiac work up procedures
- Cardiac Surgical Ward - cardiothoracic, general cardiac and surgical focus
- Paediatric Ward - diverse caseload including medical and surgical patients, collocated with the Women’s Health and ENT Adult Ward
- Rehabilitation Ward - comprehensive in-patient programs including neurological, falls prevention, orthopaedic, reconditioning and amputee specialties

About You
You thrive on the challenges and the fulfillment that come with operating at the highest level of practice within private healthcare.
- Qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 1 years post graduate experience in an acute environment
- Minimum 12 months relevant specialty experience based on the ward you are applying for
- Availability to work across a rotating, 7-day roster
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
Remuneration
A hourly rate between $41.89 - $54.01 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)
