About the role

As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

Our Medical ward is a 35 bedded ward caring for a variety of specialties including cardiology, oncology, haematology, respiratory and general medicine. We also have a 6 bedded coronary care unit with in-house training opportunities to upskill in this area.

About you

• Relevant qualifications and registrations with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
• Previous experience working in an acute hospital environment
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster
• Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills 
• Work well within a team

The Hospitals

Northern Private Hospital is a 70-bed surgical and medical hospital located in New Epping, 22km from Melbourne’s CBD. Opened in February 2024, Northern Private Hospital facilities include 4 operating theatres, cardiac cathertisation laboratory, day chemotherapy, sleep study unit, on-site pharmacy, pathology and radiology. The Northern Private is also directly linked to Northern Public Hospital.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
