About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Renal Dialysis Team in a casual role. You will be working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality, safe and cost-effective nursing care to dialysis patients.

This role offers the opportunity to utilise and further develop your renal nursing expertise while contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

 

About You

You are an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills and qualifications and/or experience in renal dialysis. You are patient-focused, clinically competent, and committed to maintaining best practice standards, including adherence to clinic protocols, environmental safety, and infection prevention and control measures.

 

Your Role

As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Applying nephrology knowledge to the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient-centred care.
  • Coordinating care for a caseload of dialysis patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Supporting and mentoring staff to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with privacy and confidentiality requirements.

 

About You – Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of two years’ post-graduate experience (highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of dialysis therapies.
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications in renal nursing (highly regarded).

 

Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).

Requirements

  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
