Job Description

This position is the initial and primary point of contact for the Destiny One Enrollment Registration operation of CALS IT, and provides a high level of technical support and consulting for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, including Virginia Agricultural Experiment Station, and Virginia Cooperative Extension; troubleshoots enterprise software; provides guidance, training, and technical support to faculty, staff, and participants in the use of Destiny One.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or related area, or an
equivalent level of education and experience; Previous experience in a customer service environment; Previous data entry experience with a strong working knowledge of spreadsheet and email applications; Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy; Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with University procedures and systems, including Canvas with Guest Management; Experience with online registration software packages, MS Excel and Outlook; Previous database management experience.
